Worlds First Cash Machine!

The worlds first ATM was opened in 1967, Enfield Barclays bank by reg varney.
now there is a point to this trivial post....

In 1992, enfield council put up a plaque to say it was opened there, but they didnt mention reg - which i think is a gross injustice. So there is a petition running here to get a proper sign put there.

Already signed this petition on the "on the buses forum" total injustice his name is not on the plaque.

I knew he had opened it, but i thought his name would have been on a plaque somewhere, ill sign the petition.

The petition seems to be growing painfully slow. It is an injustice as Steve rightly points out.
